JPAGE_CURRENT_OF_TOTAL "Complex Project Management - Seminal Essays" (by David H. Dombkins)This is a collection of a variety of documents relating to complex project management. Overall, the contents gives excellent introduction to several areas and aspects of the general topic. The articles are very well researched and documented. The big drawback is that it is not really a coherent book. The styles and the formats of the articles vary greatly, and there is not consistent approach or index. It therefore is difficult to get to specific information that one may be looking for about the topics at hand. |

Complex Projects as SystemsTechnological advances are the main drivers that keep connecting the world. Project management of the 21st century will need to reflect these rapid changes in technology and society. The exponential growth of data storage, data processing and communication capabilities lead also to an exponentially growing complexity of projects. “Complexity” can be defined as the state of being intricately interconnected.
