The Social Atom (Mark Buchanan)

This book expands aspects of complexity theory to apply them as a new scientific way of describing social outcomes. The author defines humans as the equivalent to atoms in the natural sciences, applies a few behavioral rules, and draws conclusions while observing patterns detected in computer models or empirical research.
