Overview

 

Effectively integrating SAP with external scheduling packages is key to the success of complex projects. By aligning structures for planning, procurement, and cost management with scheduling and resource leveling, it enables comprehensive and state-of-the-art project management.

SAP offers an out-of-the-box product called Enterprise Project Connection (EPC) that enables the bi-directional transfer of project-related data between SAP PS and PM on the one side, and Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Server on the other side. EPC is accessible through standard transactions in SAP ERP, is configurable using XSL, and its capabilities are supported by SAP.
