Summary This is a collection of a variety of documents relating to complex project management. Overall, the contents gives excellent introduction to several areas and aspects of the general topic. The articles are very well researched and documented. The big drawback is that it is not really a coherent book. The styles and the formats of the articles vary greatly, and there is not consistent approach or index. It therefore is difficult to get to specific information that one may be looking for about the topics at hand. A loose collection of fifteen \"essays,\" this book covers a variety of topics, in as many different styles. The two main topics, in terms of space reserved for them, are on the one side contracting and partnering, and on the other side \"PROJAM Management,\" a combination of project and program management.
Detailed Review The index lists the following papers:
Recommendation Due to the lack of publications about this subject this is one of the few options to get some introduction into the topic of complex project management. Its confusing style and formatting makes it a difficult read, though. |
